CUSTOM FOR DEB
Inspired by one of my favourite paintings by Pieter Claesz. A still life painting piece reminding us that life is fleeting.
Made from solid fine and sterling silver and jewellers brass, I have handmade all components in this piece, bar the solid cast silver skull. Leaf carved Tourmaline gemstones in 2 shades of Ruby pink and solid cast and hand made flowers and large draping leaves, and they sit in a scrolled 2D vase atop a tabletop. A skull sits on an old scroll carved book, full of secrets, next to them. In keeping with the theme, the background is full of shadows and darkened.
The pendant face measures 70 x 40mm. It hangs on a double layered 17" sterling chain. Definitely a labour of love for me to make, a statement and a collector piece.

All of my jewellery are One of a Kind statement pieces. All are handcrafted entirely by hand, in my studio in the Queensland Tropics.
